To control and design spaces for living in the openings of the facade is the aim of this housing project. A big terrace/garden inside the duplex apartments frames the landscape of the surrounding context: corporate buildings and office quarters next to the Diagonal. An inside opening of the apartments to a rue-corridor favours community contact inside the building. Each of this in-between spaces is a threshold separating the quietness and privacy of home from the loud hustle of the city. 

The form and proportion of the facade module of our construction is designed in dialogue with the windows of the neighbouring building L'Illa Diagonal, by Manuel de Solà-Morales & Rafael Moneo. The facades of both buildings look at each other: they see and are to be seen. The general outline of our volume takes also into account this scenario, modifying the high of each construction in order to create an harmonic composition.
